Digitex Technologies is looking for a Full-time QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing, along with knowledge of MySQL, web application testing, and modern QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both manual and automated testing for Laravel-based applications, WordPress websites, plugins, and custom web solutions.
- Design, develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, test scenarios, and automated test scripts.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, record, track, and verify bugs/issues using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar project management systems.
- Validate front-end and back-end functionality, including APIs, database operations, third-party integrations, and workflows.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, usability, compatibility, and UAT testing.
- Test WordPress themes, plugins, and custom modules to ensure functionality, responsiveness, security, and performance.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing across MacOS, iOS, Windows, Android, and Linux platforms.
- Execute database validation and backend verification using MySQL queries.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and maintain proper test documentation and reports.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, PHPUnit, Pest, or Laravel Dusk.
- Strong knowledge of test case design, bug reporting, regression testing, and test execution.
- Experience testing Laravel applications and WordPress websites/plugins/themes.
- Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics for debugging and validation purposes.
- Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing tools like Lighthouse and OWASP ZAP.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and accessibility testing.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing tools and browser testing platforms is a plus.
