Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual testing and a solid understanding of Karate for API testing. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for manual testing of software applications.
- Utilize Karate for API testing to validate functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in Karate for API testing.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test management tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
