The role

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our internal application development. In this role, you’ll be instrumental to support the team in feature development, spot bugs, create comprehensive test scenarios, and working closely with our development team in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test internal applications thoroughly across different stages of development

Write clear and comprehensive acceptance criteria for new features

Execute manual testing based on acceptance criteria and user stories

Identify, document, and track bugs using our issue tracking system

Participate actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives

Collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify requirements

Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing

Requirements

3+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably for internal business applications

Strong experience writing and testing against acceptance criteria

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to think from an end-user perspectiveExcellent understanding of QA methodologies and best practices

Experience with test management and bug tracking tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

ISTQB certification or equivalent

Proven experience working in agile/scrum environments

Familiarity with business process applications
