About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our expanding QA team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks that encompass UI, API, and end-to-end workflows. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure the highest standards of software quality are upheld throughout the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, and modern CI/CD environments, with a keen interest in exploring AI-assisted testing or intelligent automation approaches. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing our testing strategies, improving product reliability, and accelerating release cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing scenarios
  • Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests to ensure software quality
  • Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure features are testable and to facilitate early defect detection
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report issues clearly to development teams for prompt resolution
  • Continuously improve test coverage by identifying critical test scenarios and edge cases
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to quality enhancement initiatives
  • Stay updated on emerging automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies to incorporate best practices
  • Support the adoption of AI-assisted testing and explore innovative automation solutions
