About The Role
We are seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer (JS, C#) to join our talented development squad working on the Orbus project. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions within a complex SaaS-based enterprise architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Full-Stack Engineers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other QA professionals within an agile environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining automation tests, performing API and UI testing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and experience with automation tools like Playwright. You will work in a modern tech stack utilizing C# .Net 8, React, Typescript, CosmosDB, SQL, Containers, and Kubernetes, with applications deployed across multiregional Azure infrastructure. Your efforts will help ensure the platform’s stability, performance, and high quality, ultimately delivering value to end-users.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software QA methodologies
- Experience with automation testing tools, particularly Playwright
- Proficiency in testing multi-tier web applications
- Experience working within Agile development frameworks, especially Scrum
- Hands-on experience with API testing and functional UI testing
- Knowledge of AI tools and their application in software development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
Nice to have qualifications include familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS SQL, MS Office applications, recording test progress, basic integration testing, MS SharePoint, and ISQTB certification.
Responsibilities
- Utilize interpersonal skills to implement process improvements within the QA team
- Develop high-level test strategies and identify testing problems efficiently
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
- Design and review API integration tests and functional UI tests
- Maintain existing automation tests and develop new ones as needed
- Participate in testing high-complexity projects ensuring quality standards are met
- Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness and stability
- Ensure the quality of assigned projects and products through meticulous testing and analysis
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing status and issues
- Monitor quality trends, bug churn, and the impact of shift-left testing practices
- Maintain testing best practices across multiple teams and contribute to continuous process improvement
