QA Engineer – Automation Testing

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in Automation Testing to join a growing technology team in Abu Dhabi. This role will focus on designing and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile applications and backend services, ensuring high-quality software delivery across agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications and backend services.
- Create and execute automated test cases for Android and iOS applications.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software releases.
- Conduct API testing across HTTP and gRPC services, validating integrations and backend functionality.
- Analyse test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to automation strategy, framework enhancements, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience with mobile automation testing using Appium or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and backend validation.
- Familiarity with gRPC testing is highly advantageous.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing complex mobile applications.
- Exposure to performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
