About The Role
You'll help maintain quality across customer-facing systems and backend services by validating new functionality, integrations, and critical business workflows.
What you'll work on
- Testing web applications, APIs, and microservices used across Salmon products.
- Working closely with developers and business analysts to validate requirements before release.
- Improving test coverage for business-critical workflows and integrations.
What you'll be responsible for
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and checklists.
- Execute manual testing for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Validate functionality through Postman, curl, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects in Jira.
- Analyze requirements and participate in estimation, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.
- Validate integrations, business workflows, and data consistency across systems.
What we need
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications, UI, and APIs/microservices.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing approaches, including smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman, curl, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Good understanding of HTTP/REST, JSON, and microservices architecture.
- Strong SQL skills, including SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, and GROUP BY.
- Experience working with Jira and participating in requirements discussions with cross-functional teams.
Good to have
- Experience testing CRM or BPM platforms, preferably Creatio.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and reviewing test execution logs.
- Basic programming knowledge in C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience writing or maintaining UI and API automated tests.
