For one of our clients, we are looking for a (QA Engineer I), remotely from (United States).
As a QA Engineer I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to design, develop, and execute test cases, while helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues. You will focus on both manual and automated testing efforts for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring that the software meets business requirements and quality standards. Your role will contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development cycle and help to maintain high-quality standards.
Accountabilities:
Execute manual and automated test cases to identify, document, and report software defects
Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts based on company best practices
Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Designers to ensure that new features are testable
Assist in resolving customer-reported defects through close coordination with support and product teams
Prioritize testing efforts to meet project deadlines and deliverables
Contribute to the maintenance of test documentation and testing environments
Participate in team meetings to discuss QA strategies and improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (2+ years)
1+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related technical role
Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Passion for continuous learning and quality assurance
Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java) is a plus
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium) is a plus
Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software products is a plus
