Intro

We’re now looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-energy product team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will combine exploratory manual testing with modern test automation practices, driving quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help establish quality standards, promote a shift-left approach, and ensure reliable, scalable, and user-focused products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory and manual testing to validate product functionality and quality
  • Design, create, and execute manual test scenarios using the BDD approach and Gherkin syntax
  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, and report software defects
  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test suites with a strong focus on end-user experience
  • Implement and execute regression testing to ensure application stability
  • Prepare quality reports and communicate testing results to technical and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and testing strategy
  • Participate in quality-focused ceremonies, including Bug Triage, 3 Amigos, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Promote quality best practices and advocate for a shift-left testing approach within Agile teams

Requirements (Must-have)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer
  • Strong experience in manual and automated software testing
  • Practical experience creating product-focused test scenarios using Gherkin and BDD principles
  • Strong experience with Java-based test automation and Cucumber
  • Experience with Playwright for test automation
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps-oriented quality processes
  • Experience using Jira, Xray, and GitLab CI in software delivery environments
  • Knowledge of Java, Groovy, and Shell scripting
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good command of English

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Agentic AI technologies
  • ISTQB, Agile, or TMAP certification
  • Experience facilitating quality-related workshops and ceremonies
  • Strong system thinking and continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience working on large-scale, complex software products
