The company builds scalable core banking systems used by banks, EMIs, and fintechs worldwide — combining enterprise-grade security and flexibility with tools once accessible only to major commercial banks.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience as a Manual QA / Test Engineer.
- Experience in fintech / banking / financial systems or close domains.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and test types (functional, regression, integration).
- Hands-on experience testing complex web-based systems.
- Confident API testing experience (Postman or similar).
- Strong skills in test design techniques (test scenarios, test cases, checklists).
- Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
- Ability to analyse requirements and think in edge cases, not just happy paths.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- English B2+.
Would be a benefit:
- Understanding of automation concepts (able to work alongside automation QA).
- Experience with SQL for data validation.
- Exposure to performance testing (e.g. JMeter).
- Familiarity with CI/CD release processes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing of core banking systems.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into high-quality test coverage.
- Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases and scenarios.
- Perform manual API testing and validate integrations.
- Identify, isolate, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Re-test fixes and support release and regression cycles.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA automation engineers, PMs, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and quality standards.
- Support less experienced QAs when needed (without formal people management).
