About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer I to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on manual application testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our platform. Working closely with the QA team, you will plan and execute comprehensive test cases across various components such as payment gateways, live chat systems, and video streaming technologies. The role offers the opportunity to impact millions of users by maintaining high standards of quality across web browsers, mobile devices, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. While familiarity with Python is advantageous, we value your enthusiasm to learn and adapt to new technologies. Your responsibilities will include reviewing code changes, developing test strategies, and identifying opportunities for process improvement, all within a fast-paced, agile environment. Qualifications
- Experience with white box testing methodologies
- Proven ability to independently write detailed test cases
- Experience in testing scope functionality for diverse projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with user issue resolution
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of manual testing processes and best practices
- Optional: Experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Prior experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases to verify application functionality
- Review code changes to understand testing requirements and scope
- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, providing clear reproduction steps
- Participate in planning sessions to define testing strategies and coverage
- Suggest improvements to testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and updates
- Stay current with emerging testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices
- Assist in troubleshooting user-reported issues to identify root causes
- Support continuous integration and deployment efforts through thorough testing
