We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer who can ensure product quality through a combination of manual and automation testing.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong functional testing skills and hands-on automation experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable understanding business requirements, creating test cases, executing manual tests, and automating critical test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience with Automation Testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
- Experience in writing Test Cases, Test Plans, and Bug Reports.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Python or Java.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- ISTQB Certification.
