Role Description

HexaKnox Innovation Labs is hiring QA Engineers (Manual Testing) with 6 months to 1.5 years of experience to join our growing talent network. This is a full-time opportunity where selected candidates will be deployed on client projects based on their skills, experience, and business requirements.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to validate functional and non-functional requirements, identify defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will participate in the complete software testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate (Bachelor's degree in any discipline).(Freshers are welcome)

• 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in Manual Testing or Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Defect Life Cycle.

• Experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Exploratory Testing, and Compatibility Testing.

• Hands-on experience in creating Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Execution Reports.

• Experience in identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying defects using defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.

• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend data verification.

• Familiarity with API Testing using Postman is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of browser developer tools and web application testing.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willingness to work on client projects and adapt to evolving business requirements.
