About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation, mobile application testing, and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java or JavaScript, automation frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, or Playwright, and mobile testing using Appium for both Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform web application testing using Selenium, WebDriverIO, or Playwright.
- Conduct mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms using Appium.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation framework improvements.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java or JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one automation framework:
- Selenium
- WebDriverIO (WDIO)
- Playwright
- Hands-on experience with Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation testing.
- Experience in API testing and validation.
- Understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Full Stack application testing.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API automation tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working in cloud-based environments.
Nice to Have
- Performance testing exposure.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
