About The Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise video security and business analytics solutions tailored for the quick-service restaurant and retail industries. The ideal candidate will work within a small, agile team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, establish robust test environments, and collaborate closely with product development teams to deliver high-quality software. Your efforts will directly influence product performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on scalable solutions that empower our internal and external clients to optimize their business operations effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Associates degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
  • Experience with applications facilitating customer order to service delivery
  • Relational SQL skills with the ability to execute DML for testing activities
  • Proficiency in writing high-quality functional tests to verify feature soundness and performance
  • Strong adaptability to changing requirements and customer feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (sponsorship not available)

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a collaborative development environment, influencing product direction and quality standards
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure software reliability
  • Review test plans independently to validate their effectiveness and completeness
  • Set up and manage test environments that simulate real-world scenarios for accurate validation
  • Identify, record, and communicate software defects with detailed, actionable information to facilitate prompt resolution
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management systems, processes, and procedures
  • Perform system setup, software installation, configuration, and peripheral equipment integration
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software components such as servers, cameras, and other devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
