Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This position requires a strong understanding of various testing methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web services and applications.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality against business requirements.
Utilize LoadRunner for performance testing to ensure system stability under load.
Write and maintain automated tests using scripting languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture and design specifications.
Conduct database testing using PL/SQL and JDBC to verify data integrity.
Identify, document, and track defects through the entire software development lifecycle.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and tools.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality assurance testing with a focus on web services.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (C# preferred).
Familiarity with LoadRunner or similar performance testing tools.
Experience with PL/SQL for database testing is highly desirable.
Understanding of software architecture principles and best practices.
Ability to perform thorough user acceptance testing (UAT).
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
