Description
Our goal in Quality Assurance is to ensure the product we make meets our customers’ expectations in both performance and aesthetics. We audit each step of the process, from materials coming onto assembly lines, to the processes used in building of the product, to performing operational and water tests on random units. It’s about quality each step of the way.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the Quality Assurance team. This is a full-time,
Band 4 position on the evening shift .
Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:30 pm – 3:00 am
You will be responsible to:
Complete process audits and dock audits
Perform water testing and operational testing
Monitor production processes guided by Loewen quality standards and processes
Ensure manufactured and purchased product meets Loewen quality standards
Assist manufacturing staff with quality related line-side support
Partner with Manufacturing Leaders in the training and development of their team members
Assist with root cause problem solving and resolution for chronic quality issues
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Support regulatory requirements (process documentation, testing and auditing)
Contribute to Loewen quality system reviews and improvements
In this role, you will bring:

Able to lift up to 25-50 lbs repeatedly
The following will be considered assets:
Knowledge and understanding of Loewen product, quality standards and procedures
Current in crane and saw proficiency
