Job Responsibilities
Perform all quality audits and tests and maintain appropriate records in accordance with current Quality Standards and Procedures, including incoming material audits, nonconforming material, shipping audits, first piece inspection, and in-process audits.
Perform regular calibration on measurement and test equipment, as required, maintaining the appropriate records and documentation.
Assist operators in understanding charting techniques and quality expectations, as needed.
Use applicable documentation to determine final product conformance with applicable requirements.
Inspect customer returned material to verify/confirm product non-conformance.
Prepare rejection notices and verify defects on return material.
Notify operator and/or supervisor immediately if changes are required to meet specifications.
Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers.
Skills and Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED, required.
Experience performing dimensional inspection of products using basic measuring equipment.
Prior experience working in a quality control or assurance role, preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
Conversational English, required.
Physical requirements:
sitting, crouching, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, and handling of 50 lbs or less.
