Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:
Mayflower is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing Production Team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with quality initiatives to accomplish continuous improvement and enhance site quality system efficiencies
Participate in Quality Risk Assessments, PFMEAs, SWOT Analyses, etc.
Collect the data to assist with the analysis, presentation, and reporting of Quality Metrics, Objectives, other company requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes
Assist with internal and external audits
Prepare written communications and communicate problems to supervisor with clarity and accuracy
Develop and revise procedures and assist with Training Activities
Monitor and report on project milestones
Minimum Requirements & Attributes:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA or QC environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Experienced with standard Quality principles, preferably ISO9001, ISO13485, or AS9100
Experience with quality processes, including NCRs, CARs, Auditing, Change Control, Documentation, MRB, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly organized, self-directed, and have the ability to prioritize initiatives to meet deadlines
Skilled in analytical problem-solving, and have a strong attention to detail
Must be able to effectively multi-task and apply critical thinking methods to problems
Must be able to investigate issues, implement solutions and complete routine tasks with little supervision
Knowledge of engineering processes and the ability to read and interpret drawings is a plus
