Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
As a Project Delivery Specialist (PDS) at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of products, systems, or applications.
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand product requirements and design test cases based on specifications.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. – Identify, report, and track software defects, and ensure proper resolution.
Test APIs (REST/SOAP)to ensure the integration and communication between different systems are working as expected
Use SQL to query databases and validate data integrity, correctness, and consistency across different environments.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes don’t negatively impact existing functionality.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design, functionality, and performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
Maintain detailed records of test results, defects, and troubleshooting.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience with Automation & manual testing methodologies and understanding of QA principles.
3+ years of experience in API testing (using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured).
3+ years of experience with software testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
Proficiency in SQL for writing queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies.
Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
