Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement the overall QA strategy, test plans, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and/or automation).
Coordinate all QA activities including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
Ensure test coverage for new features, regression testing, and system integration.
Manage testing environments, tools, and datasets to support QA processes.
Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks (when applicable).
Track and communicate QA metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7–8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and software testing life cycle.
Proven experience in manual and/or automated testing of web and mobile applications.
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr).
Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, etc.).
Solid knowledge of REST API testing.
Excellent understanding of defect management and root cause analysis.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Exposure to performance, security, or accessibility testing.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
