Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Team Lead to
join our team
. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the
quality assurance
process, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will lead a team of QA engineers, develop testing strategies, and collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to enhance product quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
:
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and
continuous improvement
.
· Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
· Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time by conducting thorough testing and validation.
· Work closely with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality objectives.
· Develop and implement automation test frameworks and test suites.
· Create and maintain automated test scripts.
· Identify, analyse, and document test results.
· Collaborate with software engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
· Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
· Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
· Work with
cross-functional teams
to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
· Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Qualifications:
• bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in
Quality Assurance
, with at least 2 years in a
leadership
or management role.
• Strong experience in online trading systems, payment processing, or related financial technology.
• Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, Test Rail, or similar.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience in working in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of security and
regulatory compliance
standards in financial technologies (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
Desired
Skills:
• Experience with performance testing and load testing for high-traffic systems.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and testing in Dev Ops environments.
• Strong analytical and
