Your Role & Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for software applications
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to review functional requirements and design test plans
Implement automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and SoapUI to streamline testing
Perform integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing to ensure system stability
Report and track defects, troubleshooting issues, and working with developers for resolution
Utilize DevOps tools (Jira/Xray, Selenium, GitLab, Octopus Deploy) to support continuous integration and deployment
Conduct security, accessibility, and stress testing to ensure compliance with industry standards
Document test strategies, best practices, and provide knowledge transfer to team members
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with expertise in both manual and automated testing
Strong background in automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, SoapUI)
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jira/Xray, GitLab, and Octopus Deploy
Experience working with web-based applications, web services (SOAP/REST), and database systems
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with law enforcement or criminal justice systems
Knowledge of security, performance, and accessibility testing best practices
Background in programming languages commonly used in test automation
Experience working in a government or public sector environment
Education & Certifications You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
