Currently looking for a QA Manual Engineer to join our team!
Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Engineer to join our banking technology team. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of digital banking solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and supporting cloud-based applications (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
• Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex banking applications
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across multiple releases
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners in Agile ceremonies
• Participate in defect triage, ensuring issues are well-documented, prioritized, and tracked
• Test APIs, data flows, and back-office processes to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Validate applications deployed in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
• Support release validation and build certification before production deployment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 4–6+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in banking/financial services
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence
• Good knowledge of API testing
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Nice to Have
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Exposure to GCP/cloud environments
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter)
• Experience with digital banking, payments, or core banking systems
• German language skills

- The employees working on bank holidays will benefit either a paid day off in the next 30 days + 100% of the hourly base salary for that specific day OR 200% of the hourly base salary for that specific day.
