What we are looking for:
Requirements:
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and documentation of converting requirements into test cases.
Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is required to identify, document, and track defects effectively as well as to identify gaps in the current test case repository.
QA Functional Testing Experience: Proficient in conducting various types of testing on different kinds of applications (including, but not limited to mobile applications, cloud based applications, API driven applications, etc.) by following the established QA policies and procedures.
Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to troubleshoot issues and ensure software quality.
API Testing: Solid understanding of testing APIs using any of the API clients (preferably Postman). Good knowledge of HTTP protocol is an added advantage.
Test Strategy Implementation: Ability to perform testing based on a defined Test Strategy and communicate progress effectively on a regular basis.
Test Documentation: Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, and test data.
Performance Testing: Ability to identify performance bottlenecks using browser Developer Tools as needed to ensure software efficiency under various conditions would be an added advantage.
Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with industry best practices, emerging tools, and technologies in QA domain.
Teamwork: Excellent teamwork skills are crucial for participating in test planning, strategy discussions, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4-6 years of relevant Professional experience.
Educational Background: Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
