Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Tester with 3–5 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software through meticulous manual testing practices. Your focus will include test planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
Perform manual testing for new features and regression scenarios across web and/or mobile applications.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project goals and contribute to test strategies.
Log and manage bugs using defect tracking tools; perform root cause analysis for reported issues.
Conduct different types of testing including Functional, Regression, Usability, and User Experience Testing.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Ensure proper documentation of test results and work toward effective test closure and reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and best practices.
(Optional) Assist or collaborate in API testing and basic automation if required.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong skills in Test Planning, Test Case Design, and Manual Test Execution
Experience in analyzing business/technical requirements and translating them into effective test cases
Understanding of Defect Lifecycle, Defect Reporting, and Defect Triage Meetings
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Hands-on with various testing types: Functional, Regression, User Experience, and Usability Testing
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
Familiarity with SQL/Database Testing
Exposure to Project Management Tools like Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence
Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus
