Job Description
We are looking for a candidate that is motivated to grow and excel with our team. We are a tight knit group, dedicated to the success and excellence of the laboratory.
This position is entry level and a great choice for someone wanting to gain experience in a laboratory, or has less than 2 years experience in a lab setting.
You must be highly motivated, proactive and take initiative. You must be comfortable taking on multiple roles and be able to pivot to different methods and projects.
Candidate will be responsible for assisting with chemical analyses, microbiology analysis, sample receiving, daily checks of balances and thermometers, sample pickup, etc.
Experience with instrumentation and methods preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. A degree in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, physics, or related preferred.
Responsibilities
Prep and analyze samples for GC-FID, HPLC, IC, ICP-MS, UV/VIS, or microbiological analysis
Review & analyze data.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of all procedures performed in the department and insure these procedures comply with USP, ISO, & NELAC standards
Contribute directly to the growth and expansion of the company Our team is dedicated to constant improvement, and is always working on new methods, and ways to optimize current methods. You will have the opportunity to develop and validate new methods within the parameters of ISO 17025
