Summary: Looking to identify individuals with a strong background in payroll parallel testing specific to compensation to help support our client as they transition from legacy PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud ERP systems. The role will ensure the payroll parallel testing is completed thoroughly and accurately following along a tight timeline.
Responsibilities:
Gather payroll outputs from the legacy and new payroll systems specific to benefits and compare them to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies
Identify and investigate errors, discrepancies, and variations between the systems, pinpointing the source of issues and planning solutions
Analyze the results of the comparison to understand the impact of changes or new systems on payroll processes and identify potential operational problems
Develop and execute test cases to verify the accuracy and functionality of the payroll system, ensuring it meets business requirements
Document test results, findings, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, providing detailed reports on the status of payroll testing
Work closely with payroll specialists, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth payroll process and resolve any issues that arise
Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements to ensure that payroll systems and processes are compliant
Skill-sets:
Possesses 3-5+ years of experience working in a large, complex payroll environment with duties that included parallel testing
Specific knowledge and background working within benefits
Experience working within PeopleSoft ERP system in the payroll and compensation modules
Experience working within the Oracle Cloud ERP system in payroll and compensation modules
Have completed at least 1 full implementation and performed at least one complete payroll parallel testing exercise
Familiarity working with UKG and Kronos technologies a plus
Education:
Must have Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college
