Your impact

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for all civil and structural construction activities related to transportation infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, tunnels, stations), ensuring strict compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and verify the execution of the Scope of Works for civil and structural components, including earthworks, foundations, retaining structures, and pavement systems, ensuring all works meet approved engineering plans, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that construction activities comply with established quality standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM, DPWH standards), identifying non-conformances and ensuring proper documentation and timely closure of issues.
  • Review and validate material submittals, test results, and workmanship to confirm adherence to project specifications, and ensure only approved materials are used in construction.
  • Issue, track, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions, ensuring resolution aligns with project quality objectives and minimizes rework.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, third-party laboratories, and stakeholders to ensure all quality requirements, inspections, and testing activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with project standards.
  • Monitor construction progress from a quality perspective, identifying risks that may impact workmanship, durability, or compliance, and recommend corrective measures to maintain project quality and integrity.
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly QA/QC reports, including summaries of inspections, test results, NCR status, quality trends, and site observations for management review and client reporting.

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC for civil works within the power plant sector, focusing on inspection, compliance, and quality monitoring.
  • Registered Civil Engineer with a valid PRC License.
  • Proven QA/QC experience in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, including inspection of civil and structural works.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with experience in preparing inspection reports, test records, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Solid knowledge of industry standards and civil/structural codes (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, DPWH) and their application in quality control processes.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and construction processes, with willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
