SUMMARY
Responsible for executing Quality Assurance and Quality Control duties for Ovivo’s Dallas Fab shop, our suppliers, and vendors.
We are looking for a skilled individual that is excited to be a part of changing how the world views our most critical resource – Water.
HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Aid with the implementation of the QA/QC management system.
Lay out and score quality inspections at the Dallas Fab Shop, subcontractor’s, and vendor’s site locations.
Arrange and accomplish all nondestructive testing.
Coordinate with fab shop project manager and foreman’s on quality matters.
Perform and fulfill receipt inspections.
Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to production team.
Verify that the quality related activities are in accordance with the applicable specifications and standards.
Prepare and assist with audits.
Ensure quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built hand over through the life of the projects.
Utilize state-of-the-art tools and techniques (e.g. 3D scanner) to ensure Ovivo remains on the cutting edge producing the highest quality products on the market.
Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.
Complete quality control instructions and actions for remedial responses.
Review the customers’ specifications and undertake relevant training.
Assist with the development and implementation of the IMS system.
Ensure all technical documents related to quality control are current.
Other activities as assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE:
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL POSSESS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4 years related industry experience.
WILL I NEED TO TRAVEL:
Yes! Infrequent travel is required for inspection of local fabrications. You can expect travel up to 30%.
