Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure that all project activities and deliverables meet established quality standards and client requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of project sites, materials, and processes to identify any quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to establish quality assurance benchmarks and performance indicators for ongoing project monitoring and evaluation.
Review and approve project documentation, including quality control plans, test reports, and compliance certificates, to ensure that all project activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality training and workshops for project teams and subcontractors to promote a culture of quality awareness and best practices in quality assurance and control.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies, including the selection of appropriate testing methods, tools, and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable quality assessments.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, including defect rates, rework percentages, and customer satisfaction scores, and provide recommendations for process improvements and quality enhancements.
Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and quality assurance analyses, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and best practices in quality management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, urban planning, or in a field closely related to the nature of work. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
Proven work experience of at least 8 years in quality assurance and quality control, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project management and quality oversight.
In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to the energy sector.
Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry-specific quality certifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex quality data and provide effective solutions for quality enhancements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Experience in the field of quality assurance and control in projects of bridges, roads, civil works and heavy civil infrastructure works.
