Airswift is seeking for a QA/QC Engineer to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to support offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. The role involves leading multi-discipline inspection teams and overseeing quality assurance activities across fabrication, construction, and offshore installation phases.
Mandatory Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering.
- One of the following certifications (mandatory): CSWIP 3.2 AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) BGAS-CSWIP Grade 1 NACE Level II (Minimum 2 years post-certification experience required)
- NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or other relevant methods as per CORP-QAL-STD-008.
- Certified QMS Lead Auditor in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 (Minimum 2 years post-certification experience required)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience as QA/QC Engineer or Client Representative, leading multi
discipline inspection teams.
- Strong experience in offshore projects, including offshore platforms and subsea
pipelines.
- Experience across manufacturing, fabrication, construction, and offshore
installation phases.
- Strong technical knowledge in: Sour service environments
Cladded piping and CRA pipelines
Welding and NDT
Coating, painting, and internal lining
Repair works
Specialized materials such as Monel sheathing
