QA QC Engineerfitout Jobs in Dubai, UAE/Dubai at Careers International
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all fitout and joinery works meet the required quality standards project specifications and client expectations. This role involves conducting inspections developing
quality control
procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
& Control:
Implement and maintain the company s QA/QC procedures for fitout and joinery works.
Review project specifications drawings and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct inspections of raw materials inprocess work and finished products.
Prepare method statements inspection test plans (ITP) and
quality control
procedures.
Identify and resolve quality issues nonconformities and deviations from project requirements.
Monitor and ensure the correct of all joinery and fitout works including carpentry painting polishing and installation.
Site & Factory Inspections:
Conduct site inspections and factory visits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Verify dimensions finishes and overall workmanship of joinery items.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate with production and site teams to rectify quality issues.
Testing & Documentation:
Maintain proper documentation of inspections test reports and
quality control
records.
Ensure that all qualityrelated reports checklists and NCRs (Non Conformance Reports) are properly maintained.
Conduct material testing and ensure materials meet approved specifications.
Assist in thirdparty inspections and audits as required.
Coordination &
Communication
:
Work closely with project managers site engineers and production teams to implement
quality control
measures.
Liaise with clients consultants and subcontractors regarding qualityrelated issues.
Provide technical support and guidance to the team on qualityrelated matters.
Conduct training and awareness sessions on quality standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement
:
Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Contribute to the development of quality management systems and improvement plans.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends materials and
quality control
techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 35 years of experience in QA/QC preferably in fitout and joinery.
Strong knowledge of wood veneers laminates adhesives paints and other joinery materials.
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 BS and ASTM standards.
Experience with
site and factory quality inspections.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent
communication
problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and AutoCAD is an advantage.
