QA/QC Engineer

ROSE is looking for a QA/QC Engineer with 2-5 years of experience, specializing in low-code development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, along with hands-on experience using Selenium and Cucumber for test automation. Familiarity with low-code development platforms is a preferred but not required skill. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through effective testing methodologies and collaboration with development teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Quality Assurance:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.

Test Automation:

Utilize Selenium and Cucumber to design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated testing frameworks and strategies.

Low-Code Development:

Leverage low-code development platforms, to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions.
Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the low-code development lifecycle.

Defect Tracking and Reporting:

Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication to relevant stakeholders.
Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate the quality status of projects.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of quality objectives.
Communicate effectively with team members to provide insights into testing progress, issues, and potential risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles
Strong proficiency in test automation using Selenium and Cucumber
Experience with low-code development platforms
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other low-code development platforms
Knowledge of API testing and integration testing
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
