Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify potential quality issues before production. Implement and maintain
quality control
procedures, including documentation and reporting of inspection results. Coordinate with other departments to address quality concerns and facilitate timely corrective actions. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to evaluate material integrity and detect defects.
Lead root cause analysis for non-conformance issues, providing actionable solutions to prevent recurrence. Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality-related matters and ensure alignment with project goals. Maintain a detailed inspection log and generate quality reports for management review and
regulatory compliance
. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure the organization meets the highest quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in mechanical principles. Certification in
Quality Control
(e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) to validate expertise in
quality assurance
practices. Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in the oil and gas sector. Proficiency in using inspection
tools and equipment
such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, essential for accurate measurements.

with

teams.
