Position: QA/QC Inspector for Oil & Gas
Location: Spruce Grove
Join Taguchi Inspection as a QA/QC Inspector specializing in oil and gas projects in British Columbia and Alberta. Conduct critical inspections while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
This position is ideal for candidates with three or more years of QA/QC inspection experience in oil and gas or industrial construction. You will perform inspections on mechanical, structural, and piping work, review project quality plans, and ensure adherence to OH&S regulations. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections on civil, mechanical, and piping projects
• Review and audit quality and inspection plans
• Conduct in-process and final inspections for compliance
• Identify non-conformances and track corrective actions
• Coordinate with NDT technicians to ensure accurate results
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in relevant fields
• Preferred diploma or degree in Engineering Technology
• API 1169 / CWB certification is an asset
• Knowledge of codes: ASME, CSA, ABSA
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
