Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Carry out all Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) with the consultant and obtain approval. Monitor construction activities for compliance with project quality plans, IFC & shop drawings, and specifications. Attend Site Quality Walks with the consultant to ensure work is executed as per the Approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Project Specifications.
Conduct joint inspections with the consultant for material delivery as per the approved material submittal, standards, and project specifications. Prepare and maintain quality reports and documentation on a daily and weekly basis. Responsible for Material Inspection Reports (MIR), MIR Log Sheets, and follow-up actions. Prepare Site Observation Reports (SOR), SOR Log Sheets, and follow-up actions. Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), NCR Log Sheets, and follow-up actions.
Check dimensions of activities against approved shop drawings. Review ITPs and monitor daily field construction operations to ensure compliance with approved project and design drawings, as well as quality plans. Arrange for approved third-party testing as required by specifications and the consultant, monitor testing processes and reports. Coordinate between Civil & MEP departments for relevant clearances and follow up with subcontractors to ensure inspections are covered.
