Role Description The QA/QC Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vietnam, responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities on engineering and construction projects. This position ensures that all work complies with project specifications, local regulations, and Artelia’s internal standards by developing and implementing quality plans, procedures, and inspection processes. The QA/QC Manager coordinates with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to monitor construction quality, manage non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, reviewing technical documentation and test reports, maintaining quality records, and preparing regular quality performance reports. The role also involves mentoring site teams on best practices, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and quality control management within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and regulations, as well as quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, test plans, and inspection reports.
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on risk mitigation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.
- Experience working on international or large-scale projects, preferably within consultancy or project management environments.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental requirements and their integration within quality processes.
- Willingness to work on-site and conduct regular field inspections across project locations in Vietnam.
