Role Overview: QA/QC Engineer The QA/QC Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring construction projects comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing
quality control
plans and procedures.
Conducting inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Reviewing and approving quality documentation such as material submittals and testing reports.
Monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Identifying non-compliance issues and collaborating on corrective actions.
Auditing subcontractors and suppliers for quality compliance.
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
Generating reports on QA/QC findings and recommending improvements.
Providing updates to stakeholders on quality performance.
Training project teams on QA/QC processes and standards.
Conducting workshops to promote a culture of quality.
Staying informed on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Ensuring activities meet local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborating with project teams to address quality issues.
Participating in project meetings to provide QA/QC insights.
