Role Overview
We are seeking a QA Site Support (Civil) to join our project team at Lower Wonga, QLD on a major utility-scale PV and BESS development.
This is a hands-on site-based role supporting civil quality assurance across earthworks, trenching, concrete works, roads, drainage, and structural interfaces. You will play a key role in ensuring all civil construction activities are delivered in accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards, and approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of civil works including earthworks, trenching, concrete, roads, and drainage to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and Australian Standards
- Support and witness Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) hold points, verifying compliance prior to proceeding with subsequent works
- Review and verify quality testing results including compaction (density testing), concrete slump, and strength results against project requirements
- Identify, raise, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring effective tracking through to close-out
- Monitor subcontractor workmanship on site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and escalating issues where required
- Support QA documentation, including inspection records, checklists, photo evidence, and handover/close-out dossiers
Key Requirements
- Experience in civil construction, preferably within solar, BESS, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Construction White Card
- Strong understanding of earthworks, trenching, concrete, roads, and civil construction methodologies
- Experience supporting QA/QC inspection processes, including ITPs, hold points, and quality documentation
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and construction quality requirements
- Strong attention to detail with confidence engaging with contractors and enforcing quality standards on site
