**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and techniques, with a focus on Polymerase Chain Reaction and Molecular testing while maintaining quality control and adhering to FDA regulations.
**Duties:**
– Perform laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses accurately and efficiently
– Collect, record, and maintain data in laboratory information management systems
– Conduct molecular testing work including DNA extraction, PCR testing, and machine validation.
– Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and quality control standards
– Assist in the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
– Analyze samples using various techniques in PCR and DNA extraction
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
– Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures
– Familiarity with laboratory information management systems
– Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
– Experience working in a research laboratory setting is preferred
