Job Details
Title: QA/QC Technician
Reports To: QA/QC Manager
Location: Delray Beach, FL
Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Non-Exempt
Key Responsibilities
Inspect inbound/outbound products and document findings
Perform temperature and culture testing on products
Ensure products meet safety and quality standards, including organic handling and HACCP compliance
Operate testing equipment such as PAA and chlorine pumps, metal detectors, and calibrate tools
Monitor sanitation processes, conduct shelf-life and sensory testing, and manage paperwork
Enforce GMP, color coding, and hold/release programs
Perform rework and reinspection activities as needed
Physical and Skill Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Exposure to product fumes, chemicals, and varying temperatures
Experience in food quality inspection, produce preferred
Basic computer skills and HACCP certification or training
