QA/QC Turnover Coordinator – BC & Alberta Jobs in Airdrie, Canada at Taguchi Inspection Services Inc
Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM

Taguchi Inspection is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Turnover Coordinator to support major capital projects in BC and Alberta. This role is critical to ensuring complete and accurate documentation packages are compiled and handed over to clients and operations teams during project completion and mechanical completion phases.
Position Overview
The Turnover Coordinator plays a key role in the final stages of industrial construction and commissioning projects. You will work closely with QC, engineering, and construction teams to compile, review, and submit turnover documentation packages, punch lists, and mechanical completion records.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of turnover documentation packages (TDPs) for mechanical completion
- Track and manage punch lists, outstanding work items, and deficiency logs
- Compile and review as-built drawings, weld maps, MTRs, inspection records, and test reports
- Ensure all ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) are fully signed off before turnover
- Interface between QC, engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams
- Maintain the project document control system and ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Prepare turnover index registers and transmittal logs
- Coordinate walk-downs and final inspections with client representatives
- Track open items through to resolution and closure
- Support commissioning and start-up activities as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC coordination or document control on major capital projects
- Strong background in oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, or heavy industrial construction
- Familiarity with turnover software systems (e.g., Completions Management Systems such as ICAPS, Meridian, or similar)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation
- Knowledge of ITP review, NCR tracking, and mechanical completion processes
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment under tight deadlines
- Valid driver’s licence; willingness to travel to project sites in BC and Alberta
