Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, application, and regression tests
- Ensure software is deployed to Production is defect free
- Review functional and non-functional requirements and build test cases for end-to-end functionality as well as target testing
- Build regression test cases for Automation
- Identify issues, risks and dependencies escalating when appropriate
- Work closely with Business Analysts and software vendor to understand requirements and develop test cases
- Work with the project team and other team members to create end-to-end test plans and scripts, that test for functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems

Requirements:
- Good level of understanding property and casualty insurance solutions
- 5 years+ of QA testing experience
- Strong knowledge of QA processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with releases coming every two weeks
- Attention to detail
- Plan and monitor execution of test cases and report/triage/track defects, as well as define severity and routed to the appropriate individual
- Very strong communication skills, must articulate defects and provide strong documentation to support the same
- Ability to work independently while keeping teammates apprised of progress
- Strong on initiative, ambitious and creative problem solver
- Goals oriented with can-do attitude
- Has both the intent and drive to grasp and work with new technologies at relatively short notice
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Understanding of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Clear written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong critical-thinking skills

- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and SharePoint
