About The Role
We need a QA engineer who breaks things on purpose so users never have to break them by accident. You will test every MVP we ship before it goes to production — functional testing, cross-browser checks, mobile testing, API validation, and regression sweeps. You are the last line of defense between a Friday demo and a client seeing a broken feature, and you take that responsibility seriously.
Responsibilities
- Write and execute test cases for new features across web and mobile applications
- Perform manual testing across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and devices (iOS, Android)
- Write automated tests using Cypress or Playwright for critical user flows (auth, billing, onboarding)
- Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools — validate response codes, payloads, and edge cases
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity classifications in Linear
- Participate in sprint planning to estimate testing effort and identify high-risk areas
- Perform regression testing before every production release
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of professional QA experience on web or mobile applications
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals: test plans, test cases, bug lifecycle
- Experience with at least one automation framework (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium)
- Familiarity with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into deployment workflows
- Attention to detail — you notice the things most people skip
- Good communication skills — bug reports are documentation and must be crystal clear
