Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated QA / Software Tester to join our R&D team. In this role, will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our multi-layered platform, which includes Web applications, Mobile apps, and backend Processing systems.

This role is ideal for a QA professional with strong foundational skills in functional testing, API validation, and basic performance testing who wants to work across a diverse, data-driven technical stack.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology
  • Experience: Around 2+ years of experience in software testing/Quality Assurance.
  • Platform Testing: Hands-on experience testing Web applications (cross-browser) and Mobile applications (iOS/Android), both manual and automated testing using Apache JMeter, Postman, JUnit (or equivalent tools)
  • Agile Workflows: Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, the SDLC/STLC, and agile tracking tools.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git ecosystems (GitHub or GitLab) to align testing workflows with release branches.
  • Database & Data QA: Strong SQL skills with experience querying and validating complex relational databases.
  • Programming ability is a plus: Professional experience or strong foundational knowledge in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts or basic automation components.

Job Responsibility

  • Test Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Review and analyze product requirements and technical specifications to architect, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test matrices, and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Collaborative Test Design: Partner closely with Product Managers and Developers to dissect functional requirements, translating them into structured test scenarios, comprehensive test cases, and rigorous edge-case validations.
  • Test Documentation Ownership (Test Book): Design, construct, and maintain the comprehensive Master Test Book (Test Specification/Suite), ensuring it encapsulates detailed step-by-step test scripts, regression suites, and clear expected results mapped directly to product requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, ITOps, and Product Owner to resolve cross-functional issues, isolate root causes, and ensure smooth release deployments.
  • End-to-End Testing: Execute functional, regression, integration, and UI testing across Web and Mobile (App) platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Data Verification: Validate data processing workflows, pipelines, and backend logs to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and correct system transformations.
  • API Testing: Test backend RESTful APIs independently using tools like Postman to verify payloads, response codes, and system logic.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using project management tools. Write clear, reproducible bug reports.
  • Performance & Stability: Assist in basic load and stress testing to ensure the system can handle concurrent users and heavy data processing loads.
