Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automation testing using tools such as UFT or Katalon.
Responsibilities
Conduct manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Katalon or Selenium, focusing on reusability and extensibility.
Collaborate with the development team to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios.
Report and track software defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in both functional manual and automation testing.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Katalon / Selenium
Strong scripting skills to develop reusable and extendable automation scripts.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Automation Tester Specific Requirements
Familiar with automation scripting language VB Script, Java/Groovy.
Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools (Bitbucket)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or any related fields.
