Role Description This full-time, on-site QA Staff role at PT. United Waru Biscuit Manufactory is based in Kecamatan Serang and focuses on ensuring that products consistently meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. The QA Staff will perform routine inspections and sampling of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, documenting findings clearly and accurately. This role will support the implementation of quality control procedures, assist with root cause analysis for non-conformities, and help develop corrective and preventive actions. The QA Staff will collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams to monitor process parameters, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and minimize product defects. The position also includes maintaining QA records, preparing basic reports, and participating in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles, preferably in food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Ability to perform sampling, product inspections, and basic laboratory or line testing with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and relevant industry standards or regulations is highly desirable.
- Good documentation skills, including accurate data recording, report preparation, and use of basic office software.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production and cross-functional departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kecamatan Serang with a flexible schedule aligned to production needs.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a QA or QC role in manufacturing is an advantage, but motivated early-career candidates are welcome to apply.
