Your Day to Day
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
- Automated Testing: Create and maintain automated test scripts (using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar) to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using Linear.
- Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing for every release to ensure functionality isn’t broken.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and product leads to understand requirements, offer feedback, and contribute to quality improvements.
- CI/CD Monitoring: Validate builds in CI/CD pipelines, proactively identifying issues in staging before they go live.
- Performance & Load Testing: Support system performance testing to ensure scalable and reliable deployments.
- Customer Support Triage: Act as a technical point of contact for escalated support tickets, working closely with the customer support team to diagnose, reproduce, and escalate issues to the development team as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: 0 – 1+ years of professional software development experience.
- Testing Expertise: Experience writing test scripts with tools like; Selenium or Cypress.
- TDD: Solid understanding of test driven development.
- Code Quality: Ability to write clean and maintainable.
- Code Documentation: Ability to write clear and detailed documentation.
- Version Control: Proficiency using Git in a collaborative setting.
- Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly and embrace new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative: Demonstrated passion for software development (personal projects, open-source contributions).
- Growth Mindset: Openness to mentorship and continuous skill improvement.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented culture.
