I’m working with a major American Airline, looking to hire a QA Team Lead!
Location: Hybrid in Arlington Heights, IL – 3-4 days a week onsite
Contract Duration: 10 months with potential to extend
Hourly rate: $50-56/hr
About this role:
Creating a comprehensive testing plan that outlines the testing approach, scope, and priorities for the project
Organizing all team members involved in the testing process, assigning tasks, and providing guidance on test execution
Designing detailed test plans including test cases, test environments, and test schedules
Tracking and prioritizing identified defects, ensuring they are effectively communicated to the development team and resolved
Providing regular updates on testing progress, identifying risks, and communicating test results to stakeholders

Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a software test manager or lead
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
Certifications in Quality Assurance or Project Management
Experience with performance and/or security testing
