We are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our washing and packing operations for carrots and parsnips. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and the confidence to lead and support a QA team on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the QA team across washing and packing operations
- Ensure food safety, quality and customer standards are consistently met
- Carry out and oversee quality checks, audits and inspections
- Manage non‑conformances, corrective actions and traceability activities
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and reporting
- Work closely with production and technical teams to drive continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in QA within food manufacturing (fresh produce desirable)
- Good knowledge of GMP, food safety and audit requirements
- Proven ability to lead, coach or support others
- Strong communication and organisational skills
